PT Samugara Multikarya Utama commenced its operations in mid-2016 with an initial workforce of 51 employees, operating on a 7-hectare facility located in Tegal, Central Java. The shipyard is strategically positioned within one of the busiest maritime corridors, situated between Tanjung Priok Port and Tanjung Perak Port, and in close proximity to the developing Patimban Port. The facility is equipped with an airbag docking system and features a 360-meter waterfront quay, enabling efficient handling of various maritime operations.

The company serves a diverse range of clients, including tanker vessels, ferries, commercial cargo ships, barges, tugboats, and fishing vessels. PT Samugara Multikarya Utama is a subsidiary of PT Samugara Artajaya, a company engaged in the shipping industry with operational coverage spanning from western to eastern Indonesia. Additionally, we take pride in our affiliated company, PT World Trade Energy (INU), which actively supplies industrial biodiesel across the nation.
